Affordable Housing

With the able aid of the members of the Edina Housing Foundation, we were able to create an Affordable Housing Policy that has both a strong commitment to affordable housing and yet gives us the flexibility to address developer concerns over the percentage of a multi-family housing project committed to such affordability.  We have determined w will only have a good 10% affordability in projects where the developer wants something from the City such as a change in the Comprehensive Plan or alternative PUD zoning to the existing underlying zoning.
